Rachael is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, receiving her master’s in science at Russell Sage College. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Rachael worked as a registered nurse specializing in medical surgical nursing and pediatric primary care. Her time as a pediatric nurse was what fueled her passion for working with young children/adolescents and families, leading to her interest in pursuing her career in mental health. Rachael worked as a psychiatric registered nurse at four winds hospital while pursuing her advanced practice degree, working with children ages 4 to early adolescence. Following completion of her psychiatric nurse practitioner board certification, she continued her career in various settings of mental health including inpatient, outpatient, adolescent intensive outpatient and PHP/IOP services.

In her free time, Rachael spends most of her time with her husband, two young children and her dog, Carter. Rachael’s hobbies including spending time at her camp on Sacandaga lake, boating, all things Disney and traveling.
