We are not accepting any new CDPHP medicaid, essential plan members or child health plus clients at this time.

  • Blue Shield of NorthEastern New York

  • Out of Network

Please contact us prior to your first appointment if you have questions about insurance.

What is your out of network policy?

Our providers accept out-of-network and private pay patients.

If you are seeking to get reimbursement for your appointments with your provider who does not accept your insurance, you should first contact your insurance company and inquire about your out-of-network benefits. Your insurance may reimburse you a percentage of your appointment.

In these instances, our office will forward you a superbill after your appointment which has all the information an insurance company requires to process a claim. You submit this superbill to your insurer and they will reimburse you should you have out-of-network benefits.

Please call the office regarding current private pay rates.

If you do not wish to use your insurance you simply can chose not to do so and private pay rates apply.

Does your office provide therapy?

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners are licensed to practice psychotherapy in the State of New York.

When a psychiatric clinician is providing both medication management services and psychotherapy, this is referred to as “integrated treatment”.

We do have some providers who offer integrated treatment however most of our clinicians focus on psychiatric evaluation and medication management.

If you are a seeking a psychotherapist often we will help seek out an appropriate referral for engagement in therapy/counseling.

Do you provide in person and/or telehealth appointments?

Our providers provide both in person and telehealth visits, which varies by each individual provider.

Please contact the office if you are directly inquiring about this. All telehealth visits are provided to NYS residents.

*All initial appointments are required to be in person.
